Before this she trained in Cornwall, and has worked in a variety of settings including a Nursing Home, Gastroenterology ward, Haematology ward at BHOC, private healthcare to train chemotherapy nurses and as a Germ Cell specialist nurse in BHOC.
Her role includes all aspects of the treatment room, including baby immunisations, contraception, wounds and injections. She is also working towards completing her cervical cytology training.
Outside of work Sandy is kept busy with her 3 children. She enjoys running (when time allows!) and runs a business doing baby groups and toddler messy play classes.
