Alison Wilkinson

Alison has been at Gloucester Road Medical Centre for over 30 years (starting in 1988) and stepped down from being one of our Lead Nurses in 2022.

Alison specialises in diabetes, particularly Type 1 diabetes and more complex Type 2 diabetes. Her other roles include heart failure medication reviews, COPD reviews, contraception and sexual health. She is part of clinical team who can fit contraceptive implants.

Alison is a keen cycler and enjoys rising her e-bike - great for the hills! She has also done pilates and yoga for many years which she highly recommends.
