Meet the Team

We wanted to highlight three new senior staff who have joined our wonderful staff team recently:

Dr Victoria Peck

Dr Peck has recently re-located to Bristol and is working as a GP on Mondays and Thursdays. The addition of Dr Peck addition to our GP team has increased our GP capacity by around 8%. Dr Peck has become usual GP for some of our patients and is settling in really well.

Jennie Kershaw

Jennie has joined us as our new Patient Services Manager. With 7 years general practice experience behind her, she is enjoying working with our team and is already making positive changes leading our non-clinical staff, including patient administration and patient navigators team.

Niamh Stott

Niamh has joined us in the role of Nurse Team Leader working with our Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Niamh has a background in ICU and community nursing and will be working with patients with long term conditions and leading within the nursing team on a day to day basis.

Stay well this winter

With the cost of living and energy prices causing concern for many, the NHS has advice to help keep you safe and well through winter. See more information on the NHS Live Well website.

Did you know that there are five alert levels for cold weather, and that from 1st November the alert level automatically increases until 31st March. If you’re more vulnerable to cold weather, for example members of your household are over 65, under 5 or suffer from a long-term health condition, or if you have responsibility for someone who is vulnerable, you can get cold weather alerts sent to you. See more information on the Met Office Website.

Patient Involvement

We are excited to be convening our newly formed patient board, formally meeting for the first time since before the pandemic began.

The meeting is taking place on Wednesday 7th December at 6pm. We will look at discussing the practice telephone access and online access. We recognise that these are important parts of making services accessible for patients, and so we are keen to get your opinion.

If you are interested in attending this meeting, even if you are not part of the patient board, then we would encourage you to let us know.

To register your interest, please send an email to bnssg.grmc.feedback@nhs.net or head to our Patient Participation page where you can register your interest.
