Welcome to Gloucester Road Medical Centre We are a large, friendly GP Practice just off the Gloucester Road (A38) in North Bristol. The Surgery is purpose-built and we offer a large range of services. We have 12,000 registered patients of all ages, including a large number of students. Our list is open and we welcome new patients living in our area.

We apologise if we are a bit slow in answering your telephone calls at the moment - we have just had a major computer upgrade installed and we are still learning our way around it. We also need to tell you that we are having substantial building work done at the premises and car parking is a bit restricted, so please allow a few extra minutes before your appointment. Opening Hours:
Our reception is open 08.15 to 19.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.15 to 18.30 on Friday. We offer appointments from 08.30 in the morning.

Extended Hours:
We also offer late evening appointments form 6.30pm to 7.40pm on either a Tuesday or Thursday and from 8.30am to 10.30am on a Saturday. Please note that these are routine appointments which we'd prefer were used by patients who cannot access our normal opening hours. If you need an urgent consultation when our reception is not open, please refer to Out of Hours below.

Out of Hours:
If you need to see a doctor outside these hours, please phone the surgery on 0117 949 7774 and you will be redirected to the Out of Hours Service.  Alternatively, you can visit the Walk-in Centre or call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.
