All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working Gloucester Road Medical Centre in the last financial year was £63,936 before tax, National Insurance and pension contributions. This is for 1 full time partner, 5 part time partners and 4 salaried GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
Named Accountable GP
Every patient registered at the practice has a named GP who is responsible for the patient's overall care. However, this does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do.
At the time of registration you will be / will have been allocated a GP. If you have a preference for who you would like to be registered with, we will make every effort to accommodate you.
If you are already registered with the practice you will already have a named GP. Should you wish to be informed or reminded of your named GP please do not hesitate to contact us. If you wish to change to another GP please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate your preference.
